An Entrepreneurial Hero?
I am currently taking an Introduction to Entrepreneurship class from BYUI. As I have been reading the articles for this week, I was most impressed with an article written by Jeff Sandefer. What on earth is an Entrepreneurial Hero? When I read his paper I was so pleasantly surprised. I took a personality and interest test for one of my past classes and my interests lie with helping people, leading, etc. As I read his paper, I loved some of the conclusions he came to. Especially the three questions he asked, "Did I accomplish something meaningful? Was I a good person? and Who did I love and who loved me?" These questions came toward the end of their careers, but I can see how these questions would be a good measuring tool to help us along our way. A good measuring stick to see how things are going, to evaluate our progress and make sure we are living a life we can feel good about. I am excited to focus on my interests and try to understand what my "calling" in life really is. I realize I may not figure it all out at once, and maybe not even in this semester, but I appreciate the concentrated effort to do so. I have always had so many interests and narrowing them down is necessary if I am ever going to focus my energies.
